Directed by Eric Quizon, it is topbilled by Jake Cuenca, Arci Muñoz, Ejay Falcon, Ellen Adarna, Joseph Marco and Coleen Garcia. The series premiered on ABS-CBN and worldwide on The Filipino Channel on June 1, 2015, replacing Inday Bote.

The story revolves around the Samonte brothers who set out to avenge the death of their only sister. They do this by making the Elizondo sisters fall in love with them.

Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal is the Philippine franchise of Deal or No Deal, hosted by Kris Aquino, which premiered on June 5, 2006 on ABS-CBN.

The smallest prize has always been ₱1 (about 2¢ (US), €0.01, 1p, and ¥2), but the grand prize has always varied, from ₱2,000,000 (about US$47,000, €31,000, £21,000, and ¥5,000,000), to ₱4,000,000 (about US$94,000, €62,000, £42,000, and ¥10,000,000) for a short period, to ₱3,000,000 for the second season, and back to P2,000,000 for the third season. The game show's tagline is "Ang Kapalaran mo, Desisyon Mo" which in turn translates in English as "Your Fate, [is] Your Decision." At the time of its premiere, this was the first weekday primetime game show in the Philippines since the so-called primetime game show craze died down in late 2002, with Pilipinas, Game KNB?, the last remaining show among the weekday primetime game shows, reformatted into a daytime one after a relatively brief hiatus (although it had a primetime spinoff called Pasko Na, Game KNB? for three weeks on December 2005 to January 2006).

The first season of the show was supposed to run until August 25, 2006, to give way to another Endemol-produced program Pinoy Dream Academy, but its run was expanded twice, first until September 8 in the same year, and again indefinitely, because of its extreme popularity. The season finale for the first season was aired on February 23, 2007 to give way to the second season of Pinoy Big Brother.

The second season premiered June 11, 2007; it was supposed to end in October of the same year. However, on the September 20, 2007 episode, the host announced that the viewers could still continuously watch the game show. On the same episode, it was announced that the game show would be moved on an earlier timeslot. On September 24, 2007, Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal became pre-programming for TV Patrol World. The show finished its second season on January 11, 2008 to give way to the second Philippine version of Wheel of Fortune, which Aquino also hosted.

The third season of the show began on July 28, 2008. This is also the first one aired on TFC's North American feed. It ended on March 27, 2009 to give way to another game show hosted by Aquino, Pinoy Bingo Night (the Philippine version of National Bingo Night). The show was supposed to return on the fourth quarter of 2011 as announced on the last episode of Philippine version of The Price of Right, but the return was eventually pushed back to February 25, 2012, to be discussed below.

In Kris TV's January 17, 2012 episode, Kris Aquino accidentally told the viewing public of the show that Luis Manzano would be the host of the show once it would air in 2012. Kris Aquino further elaborated that she could not host the show as she was having upcoming commitments for her upcoming drama series, Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw, with Anne Curtis.



After an almost two-year hiatus, the show returned with its fourth season on February 25, 2012. This time, it would run only on Saturdays instead of weekdays. Among the changes in the new season are a new banker and a reduced number of models (now numbering 24 than the original 26). The final episode of the fourth season aired on September 28, 2013.

The fifth season of the show premiered on February 9, 2015 after numerous teasers hinted that the show will return this year. This has been confirmed by Manzano, on his official Twitter account, for which he would return as host for the show's fifth season. Among the changes in the new season is that the briefcases have been reduced to 20 and instead of models holding the cases, it would be held by celebrities, dubbed as the "20 Lucky Stars". One celebrity would actually play the game as an actual contestant. This format of contestants as quasi-models had been used previously in several "box" versions of the franchise as well as the US syndicated version.

In the series, Rina (Jean Garcia) is the childbearing woman of the “twins,” one sired through amorous marital copulation with her husband Alfred (Ryan Eigenmann) and the other sired when she was raped by her former boyfriend Benjie (Jomari Yllana). Benjie is sent to prison because of what he did; while Rina remains a loving wife to Alfred as they live a financially comfortable life together. Eventually, Rina got pregnant and gives birth to twins Diana (Barbie Forteza) and Ashley (Thea Tolentino). However, Alfred is having doubts about who the father is, he demands Rina to undergo DNA testing that resulted to a confirmation of hetero-paternal superfecundation, wherein Rina’s twins have different fathers – Diana by Benjie and Ashley by Alfred. Doble Kara began with the story of a poverty-stricken Laura (Mylene Dizon) who had no means of acquiring money for her dying mother’s medical treatment. Laura, who had no choice but to resort to prostitution due to desperation, was impregnated by a married man named Antonio Dela Rosa (Allen Dizon).

Despite of what happened, Ishmael (Ariel Rivera) who has shown Laura true love, marries her, and steps in as the father of her two unborn children. On the same day of Laura's childbearing, Lucille (Carmina Villaroel), Antonio’s wife, too, gives birth to their child, Sofia. However, the couple’s daughter died shortly thereafter its delivery in consequence of its premature birth.

As Antonio and Lucille grieve and mourn for their daughter’s early passing, Laura and Ishmael enjoyed and lived a happy life with their twin daughters, Kara and Sara (Julia Montes), regardless of being poor. However, when Kara was diagnosed with leukemia, the twins' parents was forced to separate the two and give up Kara to her biological father Antonio, who had the means to take care of her, because they don't have the money for her treatments. Unbeknownst to her of the existing relationship between her husband and Kara, Lucille adopts and brings Kara abroad where she recovers from her illness.

The two siblings, despite sharing the same appearance, grew up having two separate lives, and exhibit contrasting personalities. Sara, who has an extreme fondness of beauty contests and pageants, grew up ambitiously towards her own life and dream. While, Kara grew up to be charming, sweet, mellow, very sophisticated, and artistically inclined.



As time passes, a grown-up Kara returned back to her hometown, and had made a strong resolution to herself to find her family, against her father’s wishes. While, Sara, on the other hand, remained ignorant of her sister's whereabouts, busy and determined to pursue her dream of becoming rich and famous.

What will Sara and Kara do when fate brings them back together after many years? How will the sisters' relationship change after they grew up having different lives?

It's Showtime (formerly known as Showtime) is a Philippine noontime musical variety show broadcast on ABS-CBN. The show is also broadcast worldwide through The Filipino Channel. The show premiered on October 24, 2009 as a morning talent show for over four regular seasons and various special editions. On January 28, 2012, the show aired its final episode with its two-year competition format and ended with an impartial farewell. On January 30, the program revealed a teaser showing its reincarnated look as a reformatted noontime show now entitled It's Showtime, which premiered on February 6, 2012. The show simulcasted on Studio 23 (now ABS-CBN Sports and Action) during its relaunch week. It aired live daily on CgeTV's website.

Competition format

On October 24, 2009, Showtime premiered as a morning program, airing before the network's noontime shows, serving as the replacement for Pilipinas, Game KNB? (after its successful 8-year run). The original cast consisted of Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Kim Atienza, Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz, and Vice Ganda as the permanent judge. During the third season, the show added previously evicted judges Billy Crawford and Karylle as hosts.

In its first four seasons (see below), Showtime had its competition format, wherein three groups, each made up of two to twenty-five members (with no age limit), performing a single performance, whether it is a song and/or dance number oAfter the group's performance, the judges would give a collective yes or no to the group. If the judges give a yes, the group is considered part of the main contest, with the judges' scores to the group's performance to be included in the calculation for the winner. A no would, of course, mean exclusion of the group from the main contest. This segment was removed during season 2. In season 3, during the February 16, 2011 episode, the said segment was returned but no random selection, instead the group automatically performs on stage.

The group with the highest average score from the judges wins and proceeds to the weekly finals. All winners throughout the whole week perform in the weekly finals. Whoever wins in the weekly finals will get the chance to compete in the monthly finals. Lastly, all the monthly finalists compete in a season grand finals.

Aside from the talent competition, Showtime also aired quick and short-termed segments that offer cash prizes to the studio audience. On January 1, 2011, the show was moved temporarily to the noontime slot. It went back to its original timeslot on February 12, 2011 to give way to Happy Yipee Yehey!.



Noontime variety format

Showtime ended their pre-noontime slot run on January 28, 2012 to prepare for their noontime-reformatted show which premiered on February 6, 2012 on its new timeslot, 11:30 am, replacing former noontime program Happy Yipee Yehey!. The show retained all of its hosts, including Vice Ganda, while adding former judges Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang and Coleen Garcia Eric Tai was added as a new host during the pilot episode. It's Showtime aired new long-term segments, while the competitive format returned once again as one of its segments. The competitive format was used for one final season, season five. To cater the entire family audience, a new competition called Bida Kapamilya was introduced on April 30, 2012 as season six. Throughout the run of Bida Kapamilya, It's Showtime added Joy Rendon (May 19, 2012) and Red Bustamante (October 27, 2012) as part of the cast.

Eat Bulaga! is a local noon-time variety show in the Philippines produced by the Television And Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) of Malou Fagar and Tony Tuviera. The program is the longest-running variety show on Philippine television. It also holds the Philippine record of all-time number of live TV episodes. pinoy ako tv the show is aired on GMA Network at 12pm on Weekdays and on Saturdays. The show is broadcast from TAPE Studios at the Broadway Centrum in Quezon City. The show’s main hosts are Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon.Production Specialists, Inc., a company owned by Romy Jalosjos, brought the idea of creating a noontime show for Radio Philippines Network (RPN). Antonio Tuviera, who was working for the company, thought that the comic troika of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, better known as TVJ (who had gained fame through GMA Network's Discorama and as pinch-hitters for Student Canteen, but subsequently left both), would be the perfect hosts for the new program. At a meeting at the InterContinental Manila parking lot, Tuviera made the offer to them; they accepted.

De Leon coined the title of the show: Eat represents lunchtime while Bulaga (which means "to surprise") represents their plan to fill the show with big surprises. The title is also a play on two children's games: Eat is the transliteration of It from the game Tag while Bulaga refers to Peek-a-boo!. Because of this, the slogan "Hangga't May Bata, May Eat Bulaga!" ("While There Are Children, There will be Eat Bulaga!") was coined, also by de Leon. Vic Sotto, on the other hand, composed the theme song.

Eat...Bulaga! premiered on July 30, 1979. TVJ, along with Chiqui Hollman and Richie Reyes (a.k.a. Richie d' Horsie) were the original hosts. During its first few months on the air, the show was in danger of cancellation. Not only did it face competition against the longest-running noontime show at that time, Student Canteen, it also lacked advertisers. In addition, TVJ did not receive their salaries for six months.

Eat...Bulaga! slowly gained top-rating status in 1980 after the introduction of the segment "Mr. Macho." Production Specialists soon handed production to Tuviera's TAPE, Inc. In May 1982, the domestic satellite was launched, allowing Eat...Bulaga! and other RPN programs to be aired nationwide. During the same time, Coney Reyes joined the show while Hollman moved to Student Canteen. In 1987, Aiza Seguerra joined the show after finishing as a runner-up in the "Little Miss Philippines" segment.

In the 2004 episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, the episodes of Eat...Bulaga! from 1979 to 1982 had been lost, the first full surviving episode was in August 7, 1982, the third year anniversary of the show, however a clip from 1981 (the second year anniversary) are available on YouTube.



An interview with Joey de Leon revealed that Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon never signed any contract with Eat...Bulaga! when they were offered to become hosts of the show. Vic Sotto confessed that he accepted the offer and would immediately stop once he had enough money to buy a personal vehicle. Joey de Leon also admitted that the show was only supposed to be a short-term employment. However, Eat...Bulaga! defeated Student Canteen in the ratings after 2 years and TVJ decided to stay with the show. Up to this day, no contracts bind Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon to the show or to TAPE, Inc. Friendship and their loyalty to the show are the only factors that keep them together.

The King's Doctor (Hangul: 마의; hanja: 馬醫; RR: Ma-ui; lit. Horse Doctor) is a 2012 South Korean television series depicting Baek Gwang-hyeon (1625–1697), Joseon Dynasty veterinarian, starring Jo Seung-woo and Lee Yo-won. It aired on MBC from October 1, 2012 to March 25, 2013 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:55 for 50 episodes. The historial/period epic drama commemorated MBC's 51st anniversary.

Filmed at MBC Dramia in Gyeonggi Province, The King's Doctor was directed by Lee Byung-hoon, known for his previous works Hur Jun, Jewel in the Palace, Yi San and Dong Yi. This marked the first television drama for actor Jo Seung-woo in his 13-year film and stage career.

Hwa-young believes that Yeon-hee, her brother's ex-girlfriend, drove him to his death. When the unhappily married Yeon-hee is diagnosed with uterine cancer, Hwa-young volunteers to become a surrogate mother for her, all the while planning her revenge. Hwa-young conceives and gives birth, lets Yeon-hee raise the child, then destroys Yeon-hee by trying to take the child back. Later, Yeon-hee tries her best to get her child back. Yeon-hee's husband regrets for letting Yeon-hee go.

This drama is about four female inmates in Room 10 of the Chungjoo Women’s Prison who are charged with murder, fraud, stock manipulation, and attempted murder. After being released, with the baking knowledge learned from the prison, they join to open a bakery shop which eventually compete against a large bakery company run by a conglomerate.

Mabibigyan silang apat ng pag-asa sa pamamagitan ng baking classes sa kulungan na pamumunuan ng chef na si Ethan Nam. Kaya naman sa paglaya ng apat, baking business ang naisipan nilang itayo. Ngunit ano ang laban ng maliit na baking business ng apat na ex-convict sa malakihang baking chain ng Shinhwa Group na pagmamay-ari pa ng pamilya ng yumaong asawa ni Colleen?
